What is Cisco Secure Firewall?
Cisco Secure Firewall is Cisco’s next-generation firewall (NGFW) family. Running Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) software, also known as Firepower Threat Defense, each appliance combines stateful firewalling, application visibility and control, intrusion prevention and URL filtering, backed by Cisco Talos threat intelligence. Firewalls can be managed one at a time with the on-box Device Manager, or centrally with Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center or the cloud-based Cisco Security Cloud Control.
Every appliance in our shop is offered with either Threat Defense (FTD) or Cisco ASA software, from compact branch firewalls to data center and industrial models.

Cisco Secure Firewall 200 Series
For small branch locations and distributed enterprises. A new family of compact, fanless desktop firewalls that brings next-generation firewall protection, AI-powered inspection and integrated SD-WAN to the branch edge.
Models: 220 and 240P (the 240P adds four PoE+ ports).
Cisco Secure Firewall 1000 Series
For small offices and remote branches. Cisco positions the 1000 Series as a firewall that is easy to manage and detects more threats, but costs less.
Models: 1010 and 1010E (desktop), 1120, 1140 and 1150 (1RU rack mount).
Cisco Secure Firewall 1200 Series
For distributed enterprise branches and smaller sites. Advanced security in a compact, high-performing form factor that extends enterprise security policy and threat inspection to branch users and devices.
Models: 1210CE, 1210CP (PoE) and 1220CX (compact); 1230, 1240 and 1250 (1RU rack mount).
Cisco Secure Firewall 3100 Series
For medium-size enterprises. Mid-range 1RU firewalls for use cases from the internet edge to the data center and private cloud, with clustering on the 3110 and up to grow with your organization.
Models: 3105, 3110, 3120, 3130 and 3140.
Cisco Secure Firewall 4200 Series
For large enterprises, data centers and service providers. High-end 1RU firewalls for faster threat detection and deeper visibility across large enterprise data center and campus networks.
Models: 4215, 4225 and 4245.
Cisco Secure Firewall 6100 Series
For high-demand data centers and service providers. Cisco’s ultra-high-end 2RU series protects AI-ready data centers with exceptional firewall performance density, line-rate advanced threat protection and modular scalability.
Models: 6160 and 6170.
Cisco Secure Firewall ISA3000
For manufacturing, industrial and operational technology (OT) environments. A ruggedized, DIN rail industrial firewall built for harsh environments such as power and water utilities, oil and gas, transportation, mining and manufacturing.
Models: ISA3000 with 4 copper ports, or 2 copper and 2 SFP fiber ports.
